今日は、あなたはどの気質?のお話です。

2回続けて、アーユルヴェーダ理論の話をしましたが、今日の話を分かりやすく、また、正しく伝承するために説明したと言っても過言ではありません。

アーユルヴェーダのドクターは、脈拍、眼球運動、血流など体の内部を見て判断するのですが、そうでない私たちは、それらでの判断ができません。しかし、大丈夫です。自分自身の体質は自分でよくわかると思うので、以下のような判断基準で、ご自身がどの気質なのかを診断してみては。

アーユルヴェーダ

選択肢が3つだなんて、そんな簡単に判断できるほどヒトの体は単純じゃない!と思いますよね(笑)
その通り。北風と太陽の童話ではありませんが、この3つの気質全てが必要です。そしてバランスよく保たれている状態が健康状態(心身共に)とされています。また、気質の偏りが大きいほど、健康の乱れとなり、それが断続的に続くと、病気になってしまうというのがアーユルヴェーダの考えになります。

3つ気質を細分化すると、7種類に分かれます。

  • 単独気質
    • ヴァータのみ
    • ピッタのみ
    • カパのみ
  • 混合気質
    • ヴァータ×ピッタ
    • ヴァータ×カパ
    • ピッタ×カパ
    • ヴァータ×ピッタ×カパ

※組み合わせは順不同です。どちらが強いかという話になります。

巷に出ているアーユルヴェーダの本をみると、この体質チェック表が記載されているのですが、チェック項目がいっぱいあります。それを1つづつスコア化していくのですが、正直なところ、性格の判断は、迷います。特に自分のことになると変なバイアスがかってしまいます(笑)

例えば、ヴァータは人間関係が希薄、カパはその逆なのですが、そんなのは、環境や世代、その時の気分や相手によって変わりますからね。なので、ここに明記した体質だけでも十分判断できる、と思います。
